About Big Brother Coaching & Care
Hi, I’m Joseph Vega, a communications major at Davidson College and founder of Big Brother Coaching & Care. I’m dedicated to helping the next generation grow in confidence, leadership skills, and academic success. Serving families in the Lake Norman area, I offer babysitting, subject and level-specific tutoring, Christian mentoring, and basketball training, partnering with parents to help students reach their God-given potential. My approach combines reliable guidance, a fun learning experience, and the perspective of a college student actively involved in youth ministry. I strive to be the big brother who helps your child thrive in school, faith, and life.

Our services are rooted in a Christian perspective. Through mentorship and guidance, we encourage students to grow in faith and character while learning how to apply biblical principles in everyday life.
We provide families in the Lake Norman area with a range of services, including babysitting, subject and level-specific tutoring, leadership development, basketball training, and Christian mentoring. Our goal is to help students grow academically, personally, and spiritually in a fun and engaging way.
Credibility
I lead the Middle School Boys ministry at Elevation Lake Norman, giving me hands-on experience mentoring kids. I attend one of the country’s most prestigious colleges, and in high school, I passed 11 AP courses—most with scores of 4 or 5. I also captained my high school basketball team for 3 years and worked with Davidson's Men's Team. My combination of academic success and youth leadership ensures your child receives guidance from someone who truly cares.
